Kethylia is all a-Twitter...

Because microblogging is extremely addictive. The following tweets were posted to my public Twitter account in the past twenty four hours (or the last time LoudTwitter updated, whichever is sooner):
  • 23:55 Dinner in Koreatown with Deb Aoki and Brad Rice. Then public transit homehomehome. I will likely take my time commuting in Sat.
  • 00:02 Many, many thanks to Natalie Baan for donating so much of your time to ANN's round(rectangular cafeteria?)table discussions.
  • 11:32 On the road again... *sings*
  • 13:35 Overheard at NYAF: "Take off your box so people can see behind you!"
  • 13:35 Del Rey panel.
  • 13:51 Comics based on Bakugan and Ben Ten Alien Force series on Cartoon Network.
  • 13:54 Moyasimon: Tales of Agriculture, Tsubasa: Character Guide 2, Amefurashi by Atsushi Suzumi.

How'd that public appearance panel go? Any "ooohs" and "aaahs" that you were even there, or were you just another face at the table talking at people?

I ask because I feel like there should be a flutter in the crowd. "It's her! That one who never knows what's she talking about, ugh!!!" *laughs* I say this with love, of course.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I was the only one who didn't get any initial applause. :P

But something I SAID did, which more than makes up for it. *laughs* I'd rather acclaimation for my ideas as opposed to just my person anyway.

Woo hoo! Do tell, do tell! What did you say to garner an applause?

An aspiring manga artist asked us what the reviewers look for so as to help him develop their talent. I basically said that manga is sequential art, which means that it has a story. It doesn't matter how good your art is, if your story sucks, your manga sucks. So if storytelling isn't your strong suit, find a writer to partner with. The idea of the primacy of story got a round of applause. :P

Hah! That's very telling! It at least shows the audience isn't fully made up of sensationalist fools who just want pretty pictures.

Hopefully the advice is taken to heart and we can see more attempts at solid storylines, pacing, and character developments...? *sigh* I hope...

Well, applause is contagious, you know. ^_~
