"In the city of my birth, I had a dream..."
Quote of the Day (I feel a low-grade depression coming on. Think this is good advice? ^_~)
9th-Feb-2006 06:42 am
Winter
When depressed...Watch porn, fuck yourself with carrots, in fact take the entire contents of your fridge and either smear it over yourself, fellate it or dare yourself to sit on it. Really. Go mad. Think of all the photos you have seen on the Internet and reenact them. This will help you in various ways: (a) Sex, even with yourself, is just great. Sometimes especially with yourself. (b) Everything looks rosier when you are out of breath and covered in your own semen. (c) All those food products will be fabulous for your skin, and (d) clean fridge, clear mind. Or something like that. - Alan Cumming, Tommy's Tale

The sheer size of the mess alone makes me think I'll just stick with my hand, thank you! XD

Well. It's nothing if not...*coughs* inventive. I loved that "clean fridge, clear mind" part at the end. XD

Yeah and it's spoken like a man who probably never cleans his fridge^_^

Well, except when using the leftovers for *coughs* recreational purposes *coughs* that is. And if it gets 'em cleaning...! ^_~

I read a quote in a book not too long ago that made me laugh. I can't remember the exact wording, and I keep forgetting to look it up when I have the book handy, but it went something like this:

"Subject, yes; verb, yes; object, yes. But sense? No."

Ah, well. Sorry you didn't appreciate the humor. I guess my funnybone is irredeemably perverted. ^^;;

Aiee, I'm batting zero this week for getting points across.

No, I thought it was funny, I was just sharing another funny quote that amused me. ^_^;;

*snorts* Don't worry. It could just as well be my occasional lapses of comprehension of the English language.

The "No sense" quote was good, though. Where'd it come from?

A Red Heart of Memories, which is really an interesting sort of book. Kind of urban fantasy, kind of psychological exploration...I'm reading the followup now, which has a slightly different tone and focus, but they're both pretty good.
