"In the city of my birth, I had a dream..."
Because I'm waaay too tired to be fully-coherent...

Candybar Doll
I left Newark Penn Station at 10:38 pm and did not arrive at the Somerville station until well after midnight. Why so long? Flooding. On. The. Tracks. *dies*

Anyway, below are two photographs of all the STUFF I lugged home tonight from Onnafest.

Legitimate purchases.

Pretty top-heavy, eh? (^^; What can I tell you? I'm a frugal buyer in flea-market and dealer-room situations, and plenty of groups large and small were ready to push their merchandise on all of us in a big way. I may or may not make a few more purchases tomorrow. We shall see.

More about what actually happened either tomorrow or Monday after I can think straight. (^_^)

I miss flea markets. There are none around here that are worth the trip.

There are some good ones around in New Jersey...my mother especially loves the one in Lambertville. Lots of antiques.

Wow the 'BL' presence looks amazingly high there- but at least you got the clean beauty of brother. The print and quality is very impressive.
Are you a Jane's fane>

I'd never heard of Jane's World before. ^^; I need to take a look at the copy I got.

Anyway, the convention was definitely *not* Yuricon by any other name. The official line was a convention about "everything women are," though because it was so small it might as well have been a general con. If they do this again, though (no guarantees of that, alas), it's definitely something you should try to make it for. ^_^ (I'm sure it'll will get bigger the second time around.)

The Yuri anthology seems interesting. And what are those 3 pics of guys in the first picture? I don't recognize the series they're from.

This is actually Vol. 3 of the yuri anthology, though, to be honest, there's only one artist in there that I REALLY like.

The guys were drawn by a Western artist that DQ is thinking of publishing. I have a poster of him, too. ^_^

Ooo, Jane's World! I like that strip.

The creator, Paige Braddock, was there as a guest. I spoke briefly with her.

I still can't think straight.

Me neither. And I wasn't even *there* on Monday!

My mind's still recovering from everything. Gonna try to do a pros-cons and WTF?! post tommorow after work.
